Finished At Last!

I finally finished the Fair Isle vest I knitted for my son. I took me about a month to complete. It still needs to be blocked though. I had a lot of fun knitting it and cutting the steeks. The hardest part of knitting the vest wasn’t the cutting of the steek but just planning the design and figuring out the sizing. That is it, nothing fancy. I can’t wait to start knitting my next Fair Isle vest for my daughter. But first, I still need to finish knitting mittens, hat and scarves for the kids because it is cold outside. This is the mitten I am currently working on it is for my daughter. All of the colors are her favorite except for the red. She doesn’t hate red but it is not her favorite. Now green she hates. She will not touch anything if it is green. She won’t even drink water if it is a green cup. Kids, are so funny.

I got my BMFA sock kit in the mail on Saturday and there were two patterns this time around instead of one. So, that was a nice surprise.

Well I guess that is it. I am really tired and I am going to sleep. Until next time knit and spin on.
