Done!

I finished yet another sweater. This sweater is from Fitted Knits. It is the Cap sleeved T-shirt. But my top isn't cap sleeved of course. I am a big girl and let's just say that my arms look more like thighs in a capped sleeve shirt. The sweater was a fast knit. It took about a month. I used Lion brand Cotton Ease which is nice for cheapo yarn. I bought more Cotton Ease as a matter of fact to knit Tomato the free pattern from Knitting Daily. Currently, I am debating as to Knit Tomato or my new Sock Club Kit. The colorway is Firebird in lightweight. I just love the colors.

In the spinning front, I just finished spinning 40z of Opalescence by Quail hill Carding Co. The colorway is Purple Passion and it is a mix of mohair, silk, wool and alpaca. It is spun in a lace weight single. The pattern is Field of Flowers by Fiber Trends. I started knitting this on Mother's Day. It is slow knitting as I know it is harder to fix mistakes with lace and I not much for life lines.
Finally, I sewed this cute little knitting bag using recycled fabric. I may sew a matching circular needle case. I love to sew but it hard to find the time between knitting a d spinning.

Well that's all Folks.

Bombshell Finally Completed!
I have finally completed Bombshell. I started it back in May 2006 and worked on it for a few weeks and put in my WIP bag for almost a year. Why I did that I don't know as it was just about done. But, now it is done and I am so happy to have a nice non-frumpy knitted sweater. Bombshell was my first time knitting a sweater from the top down. I see a few more bombshells in the future perhaps in cotton. BTW: I used Lorna's Lace Lion and Lamb and what a lovely yarn to knit with.

That is it for now!
